Boy is he an idiot! The neglected market media covers a large range of topics. It would seem that their are numerous areas of marketing, advertising, selling, etc. that are neglected or at least reduced in stature that they don't seem important to many.
It seems that all the types of marketing have a very common interest, one that seems to bond all them together, and that is the use and design of the smallest advertising product I know of, THE BUSINESS CARD.
Your asking yourself, what is he talking about neglected product, I certainly have business cards and pass them out frequently.
I don't doubt that many business owners as well as their employees incorporate the use of business cards daily in their course of doing business. But do they really think about the impact this small advertising product really has.
Have you neglected the impact that your business card has on your current as well as potential clients. After all, this is usually the first thing they see when your client meets you, and sometimes before he is introduced to you, and it usually is the last thing the client looks at before keeping or discarding it.
Give the creation of your business card a great deal of thought. Does it answer all the pertinent questions about your company. Have you projected the message that you want, and is your business card professional looking and impressive. Your future prospects want to know as much as they can about you and your company. The only thing they may have is your business card to help them.
